Over people in southern California are currently registered to participate in the ShakeOut Drill on November 13, and currently are from San Diego County!

ShakeOut Activities in San Diego County

Presentations, preparedness fairs, and other activities are now being scheduled in San Diego County, leading up to the ShakeOut Drill on November 13 and related events.

Regional Associates for San Diego County

ShakeOut Regional Associates are people who are working together to encourage the residents, schools, organizations, and businesses of their county to participate in The Great Southern California ShakeOut. Many are giving presentations in their communities, participating in local events, or contacting other local leaders to help spread the word.

The co-chairs of the San Diego County Associates are Ron Lane (Director, San Diego County Office of Emergency Services), Gary Fisher (Fire Chief, City of Vista Fire Department), and David Burk (Fire Chief, City of La Mesa Fire Department).
