Beyond the ShakeOut Drill: For Organizations

Beyond the ShakeOut Drill

For Community & Faith-based Organizations

Practice the Drill

Publicize the Great Southern California ShakeOut among your members, and teach them how to drop, cover and hold on. Register your group as participants in the ShakeOut Drill on Thursday, November 13, at 10 a.m.

Make or Review a Plan

Will your organization survive the next disaster? What will you do to help your community? Find out how to prepare an earthquake plan at earthquakecountry.info.

Mitigate Your Risk

Help your community become more resilient. Retrofit any older structures and provide Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training for your members. Visit daretoprepare.org for more tips and suggestions for preparing for a massive earthquake.

Contribute to the ShakeOut

Volunteer as a group at ShakeOut events held November 12–16. Your organization can also sponsor ShakeOut events and contribute to the ShakeOut fundraising effort.
