More than 600 USGS employees on the Menlo Park campus are getting ready to ShakeOut at 10:15 AM on 10/15. Employees will practice DROP, COVER, AND HOLD ON! at 10:15 AM. The drill will be followed by a full-scale evacuation of 10 buildings and more than 600 employees on campus. The exercise is an opportunity for USGS employees to practice how to protect themselves, test our communication system, and for everyone on the USGS campus to become better prepared.
