Full Description:
Visit us at Discovery Cube OC, LA and Ocean Quest to participate in the Great ShakeOut drill on October 18. At 10:18 AM, a simulated drill will play on the PA system providing directions for guests, including school groups and staff to drop, cover and hold on. Join us on our scheduled EarthQuakes! stage shows and learn the science behind earthquakes: what causes them, how we measure them and debunk myths such as “we can predict earthquakes!”. Stop by our Preparedness Kit learning station to find out which items are vital when making an emergency kit. Handouts are given to help start their own.

The event is open to the public and free with General Admission or membership to the Cube.
