The Great Southern California ShakeOut
The Great Southern California ShakeOut

We're counting on you!

At 10 a.m. on November 13, millions of southern Californians will drop to the ground, take cover under a table or desk, and hold on-- the largest earthquake drill in United States history!

But we can only count you as a part of the ShakeOut if you register. Join your neighbors, schools, businesses, organizations, firefighters, government agencies, and many others by completing one of our forms at right.

You should register if:

  • You understand that if you act now you can greatly improve your safety and reduce earthquake losses.
  • You see the ShakeOut as time for getting yourself and others prepared and to practice drop, cover, and hold on.
  • You were invited to register by someone you know, and you want to participate with them.
  • You are excited that so many people are working together to prepare southern California, and you want to do your part!

As a registered ShakeOut participant you will:
