Lucie Loach The Housing division prepared an earthquake scenario for today's drill that was placed under each employee's desk together with their role card. We have simulated magnitude 7.8 earthquake, disrupting utilities, transportation, and telecommunication systems, sevely damaging structures throughout the area, resulting in injuries and deaths. Employees had different roles such as, broken leg, being unconscious, locating a fire extinguisher or first aid kit, evacuating public from our lobby, and even assisting others who were disabled to exit the building and proceed to the Assembly Area. We accounted for everyone and discussed other possible scenarios and ways to protect ourselves in case of an earthquake. Photos to follow. |
