ShakeOut Past, Present, and Future...

The Great Oregon ShakeOut is a drill designed to educate the public about how to protect themselves during a large earthquake, and how to get prepared. As an initial test in January of 2011, the first drill had 38,000 participants. Later in that year, Oregon held another ShakeOut in October with 23,000 participants.
